Wow… I can’t believe it, well, actually I can! I mean, this is my life after all and I do know myself a little bit. I really thought things would be better this far into the year. hmm… Yeah, I know, it has only been 23 days, but still, that is a long time.

Stop swearing, yeah right! Although, I will admit I more aware of it and feel as though I have let myself down when I do turn into a sailor, but still, I don’t feel like a horrible person. I am still the fun-loving Jane I always have been.

I should have put something on the list about reading more. If that were the case I would have a gold star by now and that would make me feel good! I could always go back and edit the list just to make myself look good. Then again, if I am too lazy to actually study spanish a few times a week, then editing my list is way too much work. I mean, helllloooo, it has taken me this long just to update my progress…

At least I am a little more confident. I know I will screw up and starting swearing at any moment. It’s the little victories I am thankful for!

Although I still have a few days before it is time to get serious about my resolutions, I have started to mentally keep track of how I am doing.

I am sure I am going to have a hard time adjusting to not swearing. I have a lot of questions about it. I know it is my resolution, and the terms are up to me, but I am wondering if it counts if I am singing along to a song or if I just think it. hmm…

New Years Eve is almost here! This will be the first time for me spending it downtown bar hopping. My FWB asked me today if I would like to go with him. Of course I would! I am sure he just wants to make sure he gets a little action to ring in the new year, but I am still going to hope for things to finally get serious between the two of us. Oh how great it would be to mark one thing off of my resolutions list.

I have wanted to test out my not-so-good writing abilities for some time now… I thought I was going to write about anything and everything that came to mind, but today I decided I needed a topic to write about and that is when I had a moment of brilliance. New years resolutions. Not just any resolutions, my resolutions! I feel as though this will be a daunting task and to make this last for the year I am going to need multiple things to accomplish. In the coming days I will compile a list of resolutions and they will be nicely located here for you to view and hold me accountable. Some of them might be easy, some might be hard and take the entire year to do, but hopefully I will be able to keep true to all of them.

I hope you enjoy reading this. If you have any suggestions or tips for becoming a great writer, I would love to hear from you.
